This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to provide mental health services to clients in various locations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for clients within a substance abuse detox setting, considering their personal history, presenting concerns, and relevant risk factors.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aiming to address mental health issues and promote long-term well-being.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to effectively address a diverse range of mental health and substance abuse concerns.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal growth and emotional regulation while leading group therapy sessions to create a supportive community among clients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client's treatment plan.

• Respond to crises by utilizing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support during mental health emergencies, referring clients to higher levels of care when necessary.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and resources available for support.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development workshops to stay informed about best practices and enhance collaboration among staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on individuals facing substance abuse challenges as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and adolescents, aiming to provide them with the support and resources they need for recovery. Understanding the nuances of each client’s situation will be paramount to achieving successful treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably working with substance abuse and mental health populations.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and substance use disorders, along with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
