Customer Service Specialist

*Overview*:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a high-volume call center supporting pension, healthcare, disability, and financial benefit programs. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping others, managing a fast-paced workload, and providing exceptional service over the phone.
*Key Responsibilities*

* Handle a high volume of inbound calls (100-150+ calls per day) from clients and customers regarding pension, healthcare, disability, and financial benefits.
* Provide outstanding customer service while accurately answering questions and resolving issues.
* Enter and update customer information and detailed call notes in the database during live interactions.
* Follow established call scripts and procedures while maintaining a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
* Answer, direct, and manage incoming calls in a high-volume call center environment.
* Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.
*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or GED required.
* Previous customer service, call center, or data entry experience preferred.
* Experience in healthcare, medical, benefits, insurance, or financial services customer support is a plus.
* Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

* Collaborative team environment with approximately 30 customer service representatives and dedicated leadership support.

*Job Type & Location*
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Harrison, NY.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
