Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote working setting, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions through telehealth platforms. You will have the option to select your caseload, which can range from 10 to 30 billable hours per week, based on your availability and preferences. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct outpatient mental health treatment, including diagnostic assessments and short-term counseling tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques during sessions, including crisis intervention, brief therapy, skill-building exercises, and counseling for mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate cases, develop treatment plans, and address the needs of patients within the Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
\n
• Perform thorough diagnostic evaluations using the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), under the supervision of psychiatrists and psychologists.

• Assess and identify the urgency of each member’s situation, facilitating care coordination as necessary, including arranging psychiatric admissions when required.
\n
• Manage therapy documentation, maintain comprehensive records, and communicate with families, schools, and external agencies to provide holistic care.
\n
• Regularly participate in clinical team meetings to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and develop treatment strategies.
\n
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal mental health requirements, while maintaining ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on working with a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing mental health challenges, couples seeking relational support, and families navigating complex dynamics. You will address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, with a sensitivity to the sociocultural factors affecting their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active LMFT license or a Psy.D to practice in California.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience delivering psychotherapy services is required.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a range of benefits designed to support your well-being. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
