Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Full Time Modern Integrative Psychiatry - New York, NY

Modern Integrative Psychiatry is a private, outpatient, psychiatric practice that is looking for a qualified psychiatric nurse practitioner to join our team in our NYC office, located on 39th Street between 5th and Madison. We are looking for a highly organized, highly driven and detail oriented practitioner who wants to be a part of a busy and fulfilling outpatient practice. The practice is psychopharmacology based with the opportunity to engage in brief psychotherapy. Compensation is exceptional and is productivity based. We focus on providing high quality outpatient care to high-functioning individuals with common psychiatric disorders that include Anxiety, Depression, ADD/ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder. We blend the best of academic medicine and private practice, with opportunities for education and learning with clinical oversight of cases and weekly conferences with a well-trained and seasoned psychiatrist. We use an in person and telepsychiatry model. We are an in network provider with many insurance companies, and the demand for in network practitioners is high. The candidate will need to be credentialed with insurance companies. Credentialing requires a NYS license, NPI and DEA number registered in NY. Once credentialed, you will start seeing patients to build your own caseload of patients. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years experience working as a PMHNP. Provide outpatient clinical care consisting of initial evaluations, medication management, brief psychotherapy and psychoeducation, and follow up sessions to patients. Treat records, correspondence and related items with utmost security and document according to regulatory standards.
