Requisition No: 884051 Agency: Department of Corrections Working Title: ACCOUNTANT IV Pay Plan: Career Service Position Number: 70011535 Salary: $46,163.00 Annually Posting Closing Date: 09/28/2026 The purpose of the Accountant IV is to ensure accurate financial management by processing invoices and receipts, maintaining and auditing accounts receivable records, developing operational recommendations, assisting with accounting systems, providing customer service, and reviewing revenue contracts. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves. Job Duties Prepares and reviews invoices, tracks receipts, and enters financial documents into the accounting system. Maintains and audits accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Develops recommendations and corrective action plans based on accounting data and audit reports and helps implement and monitor these plans. Assists with new and updated accounting systems and procedures. Provides customer service and reviews revenue contracts for entry into the accounting system.
