Regional Territory Manager — LA & Inland Empire Growth

Territory Manager, Basics (Los Angeles / Inland Empire, CA) What's the Short Version? Territory Manager drives regional sales growth through prospecting, cold calling, and building relationships with lower‑volume custom decorators and screen printers. The role focuses on increasing profitability by targeting untapped accounts in the Los Angeles and Inland Empire area. What Will You Be Doing? Conduct daily cold calls and field visits to win unassigned or low‑volume decorator accounts. Cultivate partnerships with local decorators to become their preferred blank apparel supplier. Identify decorator pain points, position SanMar basics as high‑margin solutions. Deliver product presentations showcasing quality, value, and reliability. Educate decorators on using SanMar’s marketing tools to grow retail sales. Document all interactions in the CRM database. Plan efficient travel schedules and territory routes. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all company policies and standards. What Are We Looking For? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred). 4–6 years of related sales experience. 1–3 years of industry sales experience (preferred). Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and good driving record. Ability to analyze business trends and evaluate opportunities. Strong partnership‑building and communication skills. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks. Professional, ethical, and service‑oriented approach. Energetic, sales‑oriented leadership capability. Exceptional organization, planning, and time‑management skills. Flexibility to travel and relocate if needed. Must reside in the main metropolitan or comparable area of managed territory. Must provide a credit card for business expenses and accept the reimbursement process. What's Our Offer? Annual base salary based on location. Discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid time off accruing bi‑weekly, up to 112 hours per year, plus 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. 401(k) plan with $1 for $1 match up to 4% of earnings. Life and disability insurance. Paid maternity/paternity leave. What Should You Expect? Job involves frequent standing, walking, and use of hands.
