As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Spartanburg, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and facility operations in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications related to observations, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
