Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in South San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Thur 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Fri 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Sat 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Sun 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at the location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help support security‑related operations. Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help identify unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance‑related concerns, and report issues to the appropriate contact. Assist with general security‑related duties for a commercial real estate location, which may include observing foot traffic, supporting access control practices, and communicating with onsite contacts during routine and/or urgent situations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
