The Liberty Group is hiring Firewatch Technicians to help keep job sites safe by spotting fire hazards, preventing ignition, and responding fast in emergencies.

Pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Valid government-issued ID
Reliable transportation
Will submit to a background check
Able to safely lift 60 lbs
Willing/able to use fire extinguishers and respond immediately if a fire starts
(If applicable) Must have a vehicle and be able to remain on-site the full shift
Ability to work last minute shifts - first, second, & third shifts

What you’ll do:
Monitor work areas for fire hazards during hot work and after-hours
Follow safety permit requirements
Keep flammables away from ignition sources
Maintain constant communication and visual watch of the area
Inspect for flammable vapors/liquids before and during shift
Operate extinguishers, hydrants, monitors, and hose carts as needed
If fire occurs: extinguish immediately if safe and/or activate alarm; call 911/emergency number
Confirm area is clear of sparks/embers before leaving; return equipment to proper location
