Facility Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a trusted leader for our El Dorado, AR team. As a Facility Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of plant personnel and operations. Why work for Clean Harbors? Oversees multiple site-specific plant operations, including, but not limited to, the metal recovery unit, ash, tracking and disposal. Supervise the residual workforce for daily plant operations and tasks. Ensures that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures & Monthly training modules and holds employees accountable. Ensures that supervised operations/employees understand and have ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards. Permit writing for LOTO, HOTWORK, Confined Space and General Safe Work. General knowledge of heavy equipment operation and diesel truck. Perform daily compliance inspections of areas throughout the facility and document and correct as needed. Works under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager or equivalent. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment. Performs other duties and tasks assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business. Qualifications What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? High School diploma or equivalent 5 years of Industrial or Plant experience preferred 3+ years supervisory experience in an industrial/plant environment preferred Mechanically inclined Permit writing is plus!
