Account Manager- Hinesville and Richmond Hill area

POSITION SUMMARY

Savannah Distributing is seeking a motivated, energetic, and relationship-driven Hybrid Merchandising/Sales Representative to support and grow our presence throughout the Hinesville and Richmond Hill market. This role is responsible for maintaining strong retail relationships, executing merchandising standards, building displays, managing inventory rotation, and supporting sales growth across assigned accounts.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, enjoys working independently and with a team, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Merchandise beer and non-alcoholic beverage products at retail accounts
• Build and maintain attractive displays, coolers, and shelf sets
• Ensure proper product rotation and freshness standards
• Develop strong relationships with store managers and account personnel
• Identify opportunities for additional placements and sales growth
• Maintain accurate inventory awareness and communicate out-of-stock issues
• Execute promotions, point-of-sale materials, and seasonal programs
• Travel daily throughout assigned territory
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively in the market

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous merchandising, sales, retail, or beverage industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must be able to lift, move, and stock products regularly (up to 40-50 lbs)
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain a valid Alcohol Sales Permit from the Georgia Department of Revenue.
• Basic knowledge of smartphones/tablets for reporting and communication
• Weekend and holiday flexibility may occasionally be required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift from 15 to 50 pounds.
