This role will supervise the work of quality assurance specialists assigned to the project. Responsibilities include:Manage internal QA audit and survey activities, including surveillance of home office and project site activities to assess compliance with client, regulatory, and quality program requirements.Manage reviews of project quality program documents to ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and quality program requirements.Ensure that appropriately trained, qualified, or certified personnel perform audit and surveillance activities.Document, evaluate, and resolve issues within the corrective action program.Contribute to mitigation of significant quality risks and resolution of client complaints regarding quality issues.Maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Client Quality personnel.Basic Job RequirementsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerOther Job RequirementsPrior quality assurance and auditing experience in the nuclear industry.Ability to obtain NQA-1 Lead Auditor certification.Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR Part 21.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Good written communication skillsGood leadership and decision-making skills.Ability to advocate nuclear quality assurance principles.Ability to collaborate with project management and quality personnel.Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship.Preferred QualificationsCurrent NQA-1 Lead Auditor.Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.Familiarity with ISO 17025:2017.We are an equal opportunity employer.
