We are seeking the perfect match for a superior, strategic, creative Attorney with at least 5 years of prior experience in a family law firm in Texas. PLEASE NOTE: This is not an entry-level position.ResponsibilitiesThis role in our firm is crucial to caring for clients in both a compassionate and efficient manner and to guiding them through our collaborative, cooperative approach toward a final resolution. The perfect applicant must be able to:Proactively work in conjunction with the production team to ensure efficient client case handlingEffectively communicate with clients regarding case strategy, progress, and costsDevelop a strategy for achieving the client's goals; craft unique, creative solutions in line with their core valuesPrioritize, monitor, and facilitate daily workflows for yourself, other members of the production team, and support staff as it pertains to your client's case handlingMonitor case dockets, calendar, events, and deadlines; ensure tracking of and adherence to deadlines and timely completion of time-sensitive tasksAdvocate for clients in hearings, trials, conferences, and mediations in line with the firm's mission and the client's goalsActively participate in developing and implementing case strategy and litigation plans using collaborative, creative techniques in a manner that supports the client's goals and core valuesTimely review of client invoices to ensure accuracy, as well as ensure they reflect all case events; accurately record time asynchronouslyBe open to being mentored and guided regarding continued professional development and growthParticipate in marketing activities, including networking opportunities and events, participating in potential client consultations, maintaining contact with former clients and lead sources as requested, and other marketing activities as requestedAttend continuing education seminars and workshops to further professional development and maintain CLE status; share resources with the teamComply with all federal, state, county, and local laws, legal standards, codes, and regulationsSustain membership in the area Bar associations and relevant practice groups as requested and approvedComply with the firm's policies and proceduresQualificationsAn Attorney at our Firm unequivocally has the following skills:Highly collaborative in nature, proven ability to build a unified approachStrong interpersonal skills in working with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and Firm members to foster a cooperative approachStrong history of proactively moving client cases forward toward a timely resolution, minimizing conflict along the wayDemonstrated ability in collaborating with attorneys and paralegals effectivelyEffective communicator, accustomed to maintaining open lines of communication with clients throughout their caseAdept at mediation and negotiation in a non-adversarial, collaborative, and creative manner, focused on solutionsCreator of innovative solutions unique to a family's needsInvested in personal and professional growthComfortable with the use of technology to boost efficiency and consistencyReceptive to feedback and additional professional training opportunities to hone skillsQuick-witted sense of humor to fit in with our highly spirited teamCapable of showing compassion and empathy to both clients and our team membersCompensation $95,000 - $115,000 yearly + bonus About Hargrave Family LawAt Hargrave Family Law, we are redefining what a family law firm can be.
