IB Operations - Reporting Specialist - (DOD SkillBridge Trainee)

Your Role Are you currently transitioning from the US Armed Services and seeking a training assignment in the Financial Services Industry? UBS is seeking individuals like you to participate in our SkillBridge training program. Only transitioning service members approved for DOD SkillBridge will be considered. Responsibilities Execution in the resolution of regulatory reporting exceptions and issues that arise out of daily business practice. Ensure regulatory reporting is executed in an accurate and timely manner. Execute on the controls that govern UBS regulatory reporting infrastructure. Interface with Change, I.T. and other key Operational units and stakeholders to improve and fix strategic items that arise out of daily processes. Offer subject matter expertise and assistance on new regulatory go lives. Input to the future regulatory landscape that UBS operates under. Job Type Full Time Job Reference # 339548BR Location Nashville, Raleigh Team A global team responsible for functions supporting transactional reporting to global regulators within tight deadlines. In our collaborative culture, the team works closely with a number of other teams to ensure UBS' obligations are met. You will work with people from all parts of the organization on a daily basis, making this team a highly desirable space for an individual keen to learn about many different aspects within the Investment Bank whilst also being part of an important team whose role is to help uphold regulatory compliance. Qualifications A basic understanding of one or more derivative asset classes (Rates, Credit, FX, Equity). Previous experience in a regulatory reporting role is desirable but not essential. Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding — practical and theoretical — of trading flows and how that interacts with the day-to-day regulatory reporting we are responsible for. Experience managing and analyzing large amounts of data including trade details, client data, legal counsel and industry forum information. Proven track record in challenging processes and procedures and operating with a control focused mind-set is essential.
