Details Mixed Cardiovascular unit with 24 beds - 12 Step-Down and 12 Med-Surg Located in a newer hospital tower with in-room monitors Cares for cardiac rehab, pre/post-procedure, and cardiac stabilization patients May be required to interpret EKGs and monitor rhythms and rates Collaborates with cardiac rehab, education, and discharge planning teams Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required Minimum of one year of RN experience required Cardiac unit experience with step-down experience required Experience with chest tubes and drips required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred Additional Information Provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients ranging from simple to complex health problems Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products Shares care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Returning travelers may extend contracts only once for a total of 26 weeks, requiring a 6-month separation before reapplying Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced and start dates will not be negotiated for candidates not cleared on time American Traveler Job ID P-750020.
