Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you will work in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend CADD drawings and diagrams, blueprints, sketches, fabrication drawings and submittals for projects
• Fabricate and install piping without drawings to reference (field route)
• Layout work ahead of welders
• Measure, cut, weld, assemble, and install pipes
• Use a variety of hand and power tools
• Work with other construction professionals to complete projects
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Complete all tasks in a timely matter

Employment requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter
• High School Diploma or equivalent (experience may be substituted for education)
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Possess current, valid drivers license (not under suspension or limitation)
• Have the transportation means to report to multiple job sites as assigned
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests throughout employment

Job qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of how mechanical equipment works
• Strong arithmetic skills, including calculating complex offsets
• Knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects and withstanding temperature extremes found in boilers, paper machines, manufacturing facilities, etc.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed
