Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Maintenance TechnicianShift: 9:00 PM-5:00 AM Hourly Rate: $33.06 an hour + $0.40 shift differential Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the reliability and efficiency of equipment at our Quincy, Michigan manufacturing facility by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing production machinery used to produce Hebrew National Hot Dogs.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance across a wide range of industrial machinery and production equipment to minimize downtimeTroubleshoot and repair equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systemsDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues related to production and facility equipmentSupport predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reliabilityWork across multiple maintenance disciplines based on operational needsRespond to equipment alerts and communicate effectively using radio systemsWalk throughout the facility to complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasksFollow all safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirementsMaintain consistent attendance, work scheduled shifts, and support overtime needsIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh School Diploma or GED1+ year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical and electrical drive or control systemsExperience supporting preventative and predictive maintenance programsMechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipmentUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principlesBasic computer experience (2 years preferred)Current work history with at least 1 year of recent employmentMust be able to wear all required personal protective equipmentPhysical RequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
