Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred) or SLP-CFY status considered
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
• Strong diagnostic, organizational, and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance standards
• Flexibility and confidence working independently and as a team member
• Experience in teletherapy is a plus, though this assignment is onsite only

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services, focusing on primarily 5th to 8th grade students
• Screen, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for students ages 4 through 8th grade
• Participate actively in the creation and management of IEP goals and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student achievement
• Document treatment sessions and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Educate caregivers and teachers on strategies to support student needs
