This role involves working in a 31-bed unit that provides care for patients with acute & subacute stroke, neurological illnesses, and general medical concerns. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Neuro

• Provide high-quality care to patients with acute and subacute neurological conditions
• Collaborate with medical staff to create and implement patient care plans
• Adapt to floating requirements across post-surgical and med surg inpatient floors
• Engage in continuous assessment and documentation using the Epic charting system
• Participate in weekend rotations and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Neuro

• KS or Multistate RN license with no hits allowed
• AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care medical/surgical experience
• ADN or BSN education
• Immunization against Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TDaP, and seasonal Influenza
• Compliance with the facility's professional appearance standards
