Description What You'll Do

• Conduct a range of routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsencompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondwhile adhering to established protocols.
• Examine results with meticulous attention to detail, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection, preparing samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, provide guidance to new staff or students, and maintain high standards of lab quality.
• Uphold a clean and safe working atmosphere while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree from an allied health program, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Keep your certification current throughout your tenure with us.
