Multiple contract opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. Positions are onsite and offer the chance to closely collaborate with fellow educators and families, ensuring every student receives customized instruction and care.

Positions available:

• Intensive Support: Elementary level (self-contained classroom for significant needs)
• Supplemental/Resource: High School and Middle School levels (resource room, push-in support)

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education
• Prior experience in a K-12 special education setting preferred
• Strong ability to tailor lesson plans and develop IEPs for diverse student needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized instruction and behavioral plans for students with a range of abilities
• Adapt general education curricula for students with disabilities
• Conduct ongoing assessments and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
• Maintain regular communication with parents, staff, and service providers
• Participate in school-wide professional development and team meetings

This position runs from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week and is fully onsite. Candidates will enjoy being part of a cooperative and motivating school community where their skills are highly valued.
