To prosper as a Hygiene Dental Assistant, you should have:

At least 2 years of continuous experience.
Dental Assistant Certification or an Associate's degree in a Dental Assisting program.
Stellar verbal and written communication skills.

More about your role as a Hygiene Dental Assistant:

Prepare patients for dental work.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and set up trays.
Assist with procedures including fillings, cleanings, root canals, extractions, crown and bridge work, and dental implants.
Collect and record medical and dental histories.
