High-Risk Breast NP/PA in Boise/Nampa, ID

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. An Advanced Practice Provider in the High-Risk Breast Program (located in Boise/Nampa, ID) delivers comprehensive, coordinated care for patients at elevated risk for breast cancer. The role focuses on risk assessment, genetic counseling coordination, evidence-based surveillance, and risk-reduction strategies. The APP partners closely with breast surgery, oncology, genetics, radiology, and primary care to ensure timely evaluation, continuity of care, and patient education. This position enhances access, supports early detection and prevention efforts, and optimizes program capacity and patient outcomes. The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. Expertise and proficiency utilizing electronic health records is necessary. The qualified candidate will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care and having the ability to independently manage patients in an outpatient clinical setting is of importance. In addition to having exceptional clinical skills the APP must demonstrate a collaborative approach in working with the other team members. The APP works in harmony with the surgeons to ensure the highest quality clinical outcomes while providing exceptional patient experience. This is a full time role with a traditional work week, M-F, no call required. Requirements Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA Physician Assistant (PA): Successful completion of PA Graduate Program (Masters Level preferred) and NCCPA certification (PA-C). A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
