Renu Energy Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is a hands-on role with real room to grow: you'll work side by side with our Controller, gain broad exposure across the business, and take ownership of key financial functions, including preparing reports across our three divisions.

This role will report to our Charlotte office


What You'll Do

• Partner closely with the Controller on day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Prepare accurate, timely reporting across all three of our divisions, gaining broad company-wide financial exposure
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
• Work across accounting, payroll, CRM, and reporting systems to research transactions and improve processes
• Help strengthen internal controls and support audit, tax, and financial review requests

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills and solid grasp of accounting principles and month-end close
• Sharp analytical skills and a real eye for detail
• Commission or sales-compensation experience a plus; Paylocity/Zoho experience a plus
