DFW Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing primary care practice in Irving, Texas.

This full-time hybrid position offers the stability of a consistent weekday schedule, four days of in-person patient care, and a fully virtual workday every Friday. There are no weekend shifts, overnight hours, or on-call responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has recent primary care experience, is confident practicing independently, and is committed to providing efficient, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. — in person

• Tuesday: 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. — in person

• Wednesday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. — in person

• Thursday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. — in person

• Friday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. — fully virtual

• Saturday and Sunday: Off

• No nights, on-call shifts, or major holidays unless mutually agreed upon

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages through in-person and virtual visits.

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow up on acute illnesses and chronic conditions.

• Provide preventive care, annual examinations, health screenings, and patient education.

• Perform in-office procedures appropriate to your training and scope of practice.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and make appropriate referrals.

• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records.

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support efficient workflows and excellent patient care.

• Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, quality, and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.

• At least 2 years experience

  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.

• Credentialed or eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and major commercial insurance plans.

• Proficiency with electronic health records.

• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.

• Must currently reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area or relocate before the start date.

• English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency preferred.
