Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Performing thorough assessments of patients, prescribing essential diagnostic tests, and designing custom care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on credentials)
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness, prevention strategies, and effective disease management

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license within the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or comparable specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
