Your Role in Patient Care

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing necessary tests, and creating personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic diseases in partnership with physicians or independently, in accordance with your credentials
• Informing patients and their families about preventive care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your authorized scope
• Participating in follow-up care and chronic disease management plans
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care
• Documenting patient interactions diligently within electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
