Contracts Administrator — Murrieta, CA (Hybrid) | Immediate Start

We are actively recruiting a Contracts Administrator on behalf of a nationally recognized project and cost management consultancy in Murrieta — a firm that works across some of the most high-profile construction, healthcare, education, and government projects in the country.

This role has an immediate start date with a critical go-live deadline of September 1st. If you can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time, we want to hear from you today.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday in office, remote every Friday
Pay: $30-$36
Start: Immediately — this search is urgent

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing 20–25 contract workflow reviews daily within an Ironclad CLM system — validating documents, metadata, payment terms, and commercial terms against governing agreements
• Performing rigorous document QA/QC — confirming all referenced agreements, exhibits, and supporting documentation are present, accurate, and fully executed
• Validating counterparty data, contract values, dates, governing law, payment terms, and compliance triggers against master agreements and company standards
• Coordinating with Legal, AR/Billing, and operational teams through structured workflow activity feeds to keep contracts moving and revenue recognized
• Maintaining audit-ready contract repositories — ensuring executed documents and metadata are correctly uploaded, categorized, and named in Deltek/Vantagepoint and SharePoint
• Supporting monthly work-in-progress audits and delivering clear, timely reports to the Director
• Assisting with M&A and integration contract activities on an ad hoc basis

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of contract administration, contract review, or closely related experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience with a CLM platform — Ironclad, Icertis, Conga, DocuSign CLM, Agiloft, or similar. This is the most important differentiator for this role
• Comfortable processing 20–25+ contract workflows daily with a 1–3 day turnaround — volume and pace are non-negotiable
• Strong document QA/QC instincts — you catch what others miss and you document everything
• Ability to validate contracts across multiple industries and document types — healthcare, education, government, AEC, technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office — Word and Excel specifically
• Familiarity with Deltek/Vantagepoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Teams a plus
• Professional written and verbal communication — you can translate complex contract language into clear, actionable guidance
• Strong business acumen — you understand who the key players are in a contract chain and how revenue flows
• No drama, heads-down execution, and a genuine desire to grow within a team that promotes from within
• Available to start immediately or within one week

What You Won't Be Doing

• Drafting contracts from scratch
• Practicing law or providing legal opinions
• Working at a slow pace with low volume

This is not a legal role. If you've come from a law firm environment and are used to slow, deliberate document drafting, this role will not be the right fit. We need someone who moves fast, validates precisely, and keeps contracts flowing.
