About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School-Based Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services to students throughout Kansas.

This is a fully remote 1099 independent contractor opportunity for a psychologist who is passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings and be comfortable collaborating virtually with students, families, educators, administrators, and special education teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for students.
• Participate in eligibility evaluations and special education planning.
• Provide recommendations and interventions based on student needs.
• Provide counseling and mental health support as appropriate.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, families, and other professionals.
• Consult with school staff regarding students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Prepare accurate and timely evaluation reports and clinical documentation.
• Provide services through a secure telehealth platform.
• Maintain compliance with applicable Kansas requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Appropriate Kansas licensure/credentialing to provide school psychology services.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of psychoeducational assessments, special education processes, and student support services.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable providing school-based services through secure telehealth technology.

Compensation & Contractor Status

• $50–$55 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• 1099 independent contractor position.
• Fully remote work serving students and schools throughout Kansas.
• Flexible scheduling aligned with school and student needs.
• Contractor is responsible for applicable taxes and other obligations associated with independent contractor status.
