Location: Tampa, FL Fully Onsite
Role: Contract, 46 Months
Job Summary
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll processing in a high-volume environment. This role will handle bi-weekly payroll processing, employee payroll inquiries, payroll adjustments, deductions, tax requirements, and payroll-related issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Review employee changes, terminations, deductions, bonuses, and pay adjustments.
- Review timekeeping records and correct payroll exceptions.
- Process direct deposits, manual checks, and payroll adjustments.
- Research and resolve employee payroll questions and discrepancies.
- Support payroll tax requirements and year-end W-2 activities.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and confidential employee information.
- Work with HR and management to ensure payroll changes are processed correctly.
- Identify and escalate complex payroll issues when needed.
Requirements
- 23+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Workday or UKG Pro experience required.
- Experience with both Workday and UKG Pro is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, deductions, adjustments, and payroll taxes.
- Experience troubleshooting payroll issues and discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
