About the Role:

The Distribution Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the supply chain. This position is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to meet customer demands and maintain inventory accuracy. The role requires close collaboration with warehouse teams, logistics partners, and inventory management systems to optimize workflow and minimize errors. The Distribution Associate contributes to maintaining a safe and organized work environment while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards. Ultimately, this position supports the seamless movement of products from suppliers to customers, directly impacting overall operational success and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery with valid certification.
• Experience with barcode scanning technology and warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and logistics partners.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations to ensure easy retrieval and inventory accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry into inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule and track outbound shipments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to prevent accidents and product damage.
• Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance distribution efficiency and reduce errors.
