Remote Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

This high-volume Accounts Payable Specialist role demands daily minimum processing of 300 invoices (or daily minimum 500 verification) with <3% error rate, focusing on 3-way matching and PO-to-invoice reconciliation. Key Responsibilities and Performance Standards:

• Invoice Processing: Enter vendor invoices, performing 3-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt).

• Production Goal: Process a minimum average of 300 invoices daily.

• Verification: Perform a minimum daily average of 500 data validations, balancing quantity and accuracy.

• Accuracy Standard: Maintain a <3% error rate overall for each task.

• Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve discrepancies, applying appropriate halt codes.

• B2B (EDI): Audit and process electronic invoices in accordance with company procedures.

• Credit Processing: Research and enter vendor credits in the system as per department standards.

• Communication: Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution.
