Foreman

Responsibilities Assist other Foreman and craft in maintaining a safe workplace. Examine drawings and specifications for various work tasks and ensure current information is passed down to front line supervisors. Track project schedule and cost reports. Schedule crews according to available work packages for the project and all required equipment and material necessary to complete the task. Plan the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers. Conduct regular inspections of craft work and quality as well as ensure installation is per specification. Monitor timely delivery of necessary materials and schedule necessary equipment to assure continued productivity. Conduct regular safety meetings with craft employees addressing specific work areas and conditions that require attention, stressing compliance with company and regulatory safety procedures. Coordinate with engineers, client/owner, inspectors, etc. to isolate problems regarding projects mechanical equipment and assist in developing solutions to these problems, as directed by supervision. Coordinate work activities and installations with other craft supervision to assure productivity and to eliminate conflicts in the field. Prioritize tasks according to job schedule. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of four years of experience. Ability to travel up to 100% Job site safety requirements as required by the client. Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.).
