Structural Engineer
Area: Cedar Rapids Area
Shift: 1st Shift (Hybrid – 3 days onsite minimum)

Job Summary:

Design and analyze structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood for industrial projects
Perform structural calculations and ensure designs meet applicable codes and client standards
Develop and review 3D models and drawings using tools such as RISA-3D
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure accurate and coordinated designs
Conduct site visits and field inspections to assess existing structures and conditions
Prepare engineering documentation including reports, studies, and project notes
Support construction phases including coordination with contractors and resolving field issues
Select appropriate materials and construction methods based on project requirements
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with minimal supervision
Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance across all engineering outputs
