Senior Director, Human Resources

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Human Resources Director to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will partner closely with senior operations leaders to shape and execute people strategies that support multi-site manufacturing performance. You will lead HR support for plant environments, strengthen leadership capability, and drive organizational effectiveness across a global, matrixed business. The position will focus on aligning workforce planning, employee relations, and change management with operational goals to improve engagement and retention. Location: St. Louis Park, MN - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $204,400 – $304,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as a strategic advisor and business partner to leadership, aligning HR strategies with business goals. Lead HR support for multi-site manufacturing operations, coaching plant HR teams and site leaders. Develop workforce and talent strategies to enhance operational performance and capability. Drive change management efforts during organizational transformations and design. Strengthen leadership capability through coaching in performance management and employee engagement. Champion employee experience and retention through data-driven strategies and action plans. Implement standardized HR processes across sites to support operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or operations environments. Proven experience in supporting multi-site operations and partnering with plant leadership. Demonstrated success as a strategic HR business partner in a global, matrixed organization. Strong understanding of employee relations, labor relations, and organizational design. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate business strategies into actionable HR plans.
