QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN Northbrook, IL $65,000–$75,000/year Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM 3–5+ years of experience Key Responsibilities Perform first-piece approvals and quality inspections. Program and operate CMM using PC-DMIS . Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T . Use precision measuring instruments and gauges. Create and maintain inspection procedures and work instructions. Train operators on quality standards and proper use of gauges. Maintain measurement equipment, gauges, and quality records. Support corrective actions, including SCARs . Work with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Support FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and APQP requirements. Qualifications 3–5+ years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and APQP . Experience with PC-DMIS/CMM programming . Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T . Proficient with measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
