Clinical Outreach Liaison

Responsibilities Clinical Outreach Liaison- IOP Mental Health We are seeking a Clinical Outreach Liaison to support access to care for our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Thousand Branches Wellness in Omaha, NE through clinically informed community outreach and referral engagement. This role is responsible for the execution of outreach activities with a strong clinical lens, ensuring referral partners are supported in identifying appropriate level‑of‑care placements. Working within established outreach priorities, the Liaison will serve as a clinical resource in the community, helping bridge gaps between providers and treatment services. This is a field‑based, externally focused role and does not include responsibility for internal program operations, staffing, or clinical service delivery. This position may entail evening and/or weekend hours as needed for community events. Qualifications Master’s degree in a behavioral health field required Active licensure or registration strongly preferred 1–3+ years of experience in behavioral health (clinical, case management, or utilization review experience preferred) Strong understanding of behavioral health diagnoses and levels of care (IOP/PHP/residential) Ability to communicate clinical concepts clearly to both clinical and non‑clinical audiences Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust within the provider community Ability to work independently in a structured, field‑based role Preferred Experience Experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment settings Background in assessment, case management, or care coordination Familiarity working with military populations, veterans, or veteran‑serving organizations Established relationships within the behavioral health community Experience with CRM or referral tracking systems What We’re Looking For A clinically trained professional who enjoys community engagement and relationship building Strong ability to translate clinical knowledge into practical guidance for referral partners Consistent, reliable execution of outreach activities High level of organization and follow‑through Comfort working within established outreach direction and priorities Performance Expectations Maintain consistent weekly outreach activity in the field Support growth in clinically appropriate referrals and admissions Build and sustain relationships with community providers Ensure accurate and timely documentation of outreach efforts Why Join Us This role offers a unique opportunity to step outside of traditional clinical settings and make a broader impact by helping individuals access the right level of care at the right time, while building meaningful relationships across the behavioral health community.
