Academic, Physiatrist- Outpatient Opportunity

\n The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Physiatrist for a full-time position as assistant, associate, or full professor on the clinical scholar pathway.\n

\n Responsibilities include patient care and an involvement in resident and medical student teaching.\n

\n We are seeking an individual for outpatient PM&R. There is shared weekend and holiday cross-coverage among a group of six current physicians. There are opportunities for acute care consultations and outpatient prosthetic/orthotic management. Located in a specialty orthopaedic/rehabilitation facility, outpatient opportunities exist for general PM&R, post-acute care follow-up, delivering care for spasticity patients, including botox treatment, spinal cord injury management, general MSK PM&R, EMG studies, as well as concussion/TBI depending on skills/experience. Direct collaborations with Orthopaedic colleagues in all specialties is immediately available.\n

\n Qualifications: Must be a board certified or board eligible physiatrist with an interest in comprehensive Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Candidates must demonstrate an interest in teaching.\n
