Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering appropriate diagnostic testing, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in cooperation with physicians or independently (as credentials allow)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Necessary Certifications

• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
