Job Family:Strategy & Transformation ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will lead workforce transformation efforts for the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer organization. The Senior Consultant will lead a workstream in support of the development of strategic human capital plan and growth plan. Working under the direction of a Managing Consultant, the Senior will assist in analyzing workforce data and gleaning insights to inform the creation of a strategic human capital plan and growth plan related to transforming hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce development processes among other functions. The Senior Consultant have the following experience:Supporting the assessment of human capital/workforce practices and strategies and designing accompanying implementations plansSupporting the development of stakeholder engagement approaches and initiativesAnalyzing human capital data and gleaning insights regarding trends and opportunitiesAssisting in the development of metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of workforce transformation effortsAssisting in preparation of and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefingsSupporting multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all productsSupporting the preparation of a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans communicate program status and progress to senior leadersWhat You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.Bachelor’s degree and at leastFIVE (5) or more years of relevant experience leading strategic workforce transformation efforts and directing the work of a team, with at least THREE (3) or more years of management consulting experience in workforce transformation.What Would Be Nice To Have:Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applicationsExperience consulting for the DHSExcellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbalAbility to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationshipsExperience working in DHSThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
