Job Title Project Manager, Protein Expression Location Piscataway, NJ (Fully Onsite) Job Summary As a Project Manager – Molecular Biology, you’ll lead customer‑focused projects from strategy to delivery, ensuring high‑impact outcomes in a fast‑paced biotech environment. Leveraging your protein expression expertise, you’ll oversee cross‑functional teams, manage various accounts, and drive platform enhancements to maintain GenScript’s competitive edge. The estimated salary range is $90,000 – $100,000, based on experience. Responsibilities Project evaluation: evaluate the project strategy and prepare the service proposal based on client’s request and scientific judgement. Project management: coordinate all teams to facilitate the research work, and provide regular feedback/update to client for any project progress/trouble‑shooting, especially for key accounts. Work collaboratively with commercial team and production team to ensure projects can be finished in time. Provide support to develop business from technical perspective. Help improve the service platform: have a deep understanding of the market needs and our competitors, and help to optimize and upgrade our service package and platform technology. Qualifications At least an MS degree in life sciences with over 2 years of protein science experience; PhD preferred. Strong customer service awareness, sense of responsibility, good communication, coordination and execution ability. Solid protein‑related technical background, with hands‑on experience. Ability to multi‑task and manage various project elements simultaneously. Capacity to manage high‑stress situations. Adaptive to a bilingual working environment (English & Chinese).
