Job Description

Local contract School Pediatric Physical Therapist in Odessa, Delaware.

Contract Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks (4-week contracts)
• Hours: 12 hours per week (4‑hour days)
• Rates: $45.55 – $49.10 per hour
• Assignment bonus: up to $3,000 (conditions apply)
• Employment type: Local Contract

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results.
• Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services.
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals.
• Work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians.
• May be asked to travel between school locations.
• May be asked to supervise assistants.

Qualifications

• Delaware Physical Therapist License
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
