Senior Vice President, Mortgage Lending About the Company Respected community bank Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of an SVP for Mortgage Lending to provide strategic leadership and take responsibility for the development and execution of comprehensive mortgage strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to align the corporate culture, strategic plans, and priorities. This executive-level role involves overseeing all lending operations, from origination to closing, and leading efforts to enhance the performance efficiency of the business units. The SVP will be tasked with transforming the organization into a top-tier mortgage lender, focusing on service level improvement, revenue growth, and productivity. Additionally, the role requires the establishment and monitoring of key metrics to ensure compliance with quality standards, laws, and regulations. Applicants for the SVP - Mortgage Lending position at the company should be dynamic individuals with a passion for influencing their own development. The role demands a candidate with a Bachelor's degree (preferred), at least 5 years' of senior management experience in the mortgage industry, and a minimum of 10 years' of technical experience in mortgage lending operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Fannie, Freddie, FHA/VA loans, and experience with the Encompass platform is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to lead a team, analyze complex situations, and ensure the proper development and management of internal controls. The SVP will also be responsible for maintaining all required licensing and staying abreast of the complex laws and regulations governing mortgage lending.
