Senior Vice President, Consumer Lending About the Company Accomplished banking organization Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of an SVP - Consumer Lending to oversee the efficient and effective operation of the consumer credit analysts and the decision-making process for consumer loan applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the department's activities align with operating policies and procedures, staying informed about state and federal lending and collection laws, and maintaining a high standard of performance in loan underwriting. This role involves coordinating and supervising the consumer lending department, approving loans, and managing staff training, as well as being involved in the Bank Secrecy Act and ensuring the department is properly staffed and in compliance with all regulations. Applicants for the SVP - Consumer Lending position at the company should have a strong background in direct and indirect auto-lending, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration. A minimum of three years' experience in consumer loan underwriting and prior supervisory experience are required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a proven track record of accuracy in their work. Strong PC skills and the ability to mentor and coach team members are also essential for this role.
