Project Manager (Electrical Contracting)

Overview Electrical Project Manager (Non-Union) – Commercial & Industrial Projects | New Jersey We are partnered with a growing, non-union electrical contractor in Central New Jersey with a strong reputation across commercial and industrial work. They are looking to bring on an experienced Electrical Project Manager who can take ownership of projects and keep things moving efficiently. Responsibilities Manage multiple electrical construction projects across the Central & Northern New Jersey areas, averaging $100K – $3M Oversee projects from kickoff through closeout Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and billing Work directly with field teams, clients, and general contractors Ensure projects stay on time, on budget, and run smoothly Review plans/specs and proactively solve issues before they become problems Build and maintain relationships with repeat clients and partners Qualifications Five- ten plus (5–10+) years of experience in electrical project management Background with a commercial or industrial electrical contractor (non-union experience preferred) Strong understanding of NJ construction practices and fast-paced project environments Ability to manage multiple projects without losing control of details Experience with job costing, budgeting, and scheduling Familiarity with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar Accountable, responsive, and comfortable working in a non-union setting What qualified applicants will receive Competitive base salary + performance bonus Vehicle or allowance Strong backlog of commercial, warehouse, and light industrial projects Opportunity to gain experience and advance Why This Role Stands Out Projects are local to NJ—no excessive travel Leadership that values efficiency, accountability, and common sense You will have real ownership of your projects—not just pushing paperwork If you are a non-union Electrical Project Manager looking for a role where you can run your jobs, be part of a solid team, and work for an excellent management team, this opportunity is worth a conversation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
