Position Overview The Direct Support Aide provides hands-on assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals, maintain independence, and actively participate in their communities. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour , based on experience and location Paid training and opportunities for career growth Supportive and collaborative team environment Competitive compensation package DailyPay – Access earned wages before payday Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Wellness programs and additional employee benefits Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License required Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with proper grammar and vocabulary Additional Requirements Successful completion of Criminal Record History Clearance and FBI background checks Ability to pass a physical examination and drug screening Willingness and ability to attend and successfully complete all required training programs Key Responsibilities Provide support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, grocery shopping, recreational activities, and achievement of individual goals and outcomes Assist with maintaining compliance with community home licensing requirements and operational regulations Collaborate with the Assistant Program Coordinator to ensure services are delivered according to each individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP) Promote and maintain the safety, well-being, dignity, and independence of all individuals residing in the home Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive environment that encourages personal growth and community engagement
