We are currently seeking Landscape Specialty, Renovation, Herbicide/Fertilizer and Mowing Crew Leaders for our Landscape Maintenance Department (LMD) through our Madison, WI branch location. This role offers the opportunity for personal and professional growth, collaboration with industry experts, and the chance to work on hands-on, outdoor projects. During the winter we do snow removal, training, and complete maintenance projects .

Qualifications

• Crew Leaders have minimum of one year experience in the production field supervising crew and training technicians ensuring client satisfaction with quality outcomes (pro-rated with advanced education).
• Willingness to learn and improve processes.
• Commitment to safety.
• Strong plant identification skills (annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs) is preferred.
• Possess and maintain Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator’s License (Category 3.0) is preferred.
• Two or four-year degree from an accredited college/university in Horticulture or related field is preferred.
• Bilingual - proficient/fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Required to possess and maintain valid, regular driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Required to successfully complete a preplacement physical (to include lifting 50 pounds) and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Crew Leaders train, develop, manage, review, motivate, and direct a crew of technicians and laborers.
• Mowing Crew Leaders maintain lawns through mowing and trimming.
• Specialty Crew Leaders deliver spring clean-up services, including perennial care and removal of winter protection.
• Herbicide and Fertilizer Crew Leaders apply fertilizer and pesticides as needed.
• Renovation Crew Leaders install new landscapes and landscape renovations such as drainage systems, nightscape systems, seed and sod, retaining walls, and pavers.
• Planting and Holiday Installs.
• Maintain lawns through mowing and trimming.
• Shape and prune shrubs, bushes, and trees.
• Perform seeding, sodding, and hydro-mulching tasks.
• Conduct spring and fall cleanups.
• Remove snow and ice (for hourly snow bonus).
