Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER RN to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced emergency department. The traveler will be responsible for floating to a nearby ED as needed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately to prioritize care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following clinical guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other units or facilities as required, demonstrating adaptability.
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required.
• Minimum of 3 years ER experience preferred; first-timers accepted.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• Comfortable floating within the facility and to nearby hospitals.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.
