Associate Attorney – Real Estate

A well-established law firm in Chicago’s northwest suburbs is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience, work directly with clients, and receive mentorship from experienced practitioners in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and related transaction documents
• Conduct title and due diligence review and assist with closings
• Advise clients throughout the transaction process
• Gain exposure to business, corporate, and contract matters based on interest and firm needs

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Illinois bar license
• 0-3 years of legal experience, with an interest in real estate law
• Strong writing, research, communication, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop professionally
• Client-focused, professional, and collaborative approach

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000-$100,000 DOE, plus annual bonus
• More experienced candidates will be considered at market compensation
