Position Overview

A large multispecialty group in New York City is actively seeking a Gynecologist to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services in an outpatient setting in the Bronx. This opportunity offers flexible part-time or full-time scheduling and is ideal for physicians who are passionate about preventive care, routine gynecologic services, and managing a broad range of women’s health conditions in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Evaluation

• Provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual wellness exams, preventive screenings, and routine women's health services

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, infections, menopause-related concerns, and other reproductive health issues

• Perform detailed patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations

• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures

Clinical Procedures & Management

• Perform office-based gynecologic procedures as appropriate

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Provide contraceptive counseling and management

Care Coordination & Collaboration

• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and advanced practice providers to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when indicated

• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning for complex cases

Patient Education

• Educate patients regarding preventive health measures, reproductive health, and wellness strategies

• Counsel patients on family planning, menopause management, and lifestyle modifications

• Promote preventive screenings and early detection initiatives

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR/EHR systems

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as appropriate

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Active or eligible for New York State medical license

• Experience in outpatient gynecology preferred (new graduates may be considered)

• Strong clinical and patient care skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
